Graveside funeral services for Woodrow Duke, age 72, of Rayville, LA will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday May 28, 2014 at the Olla Cemetery at Olla, LA with services under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.Officiating the service will be Rev. Chad Tibbs. Woodrow Myres Duke was born on April 27, 1942 at New Orleans, LA to the union of his parents Stuart Myers Duke and Opal Lucille Wilson Duke, and passed from this life on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at the Rayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory: five sisters: Peggy Hale of Monroe, LA; Linda Smith of Jena; Doris Inez Judice, Lettie Irene Duke and Priscilla Ruth Dearmon all of Houston; and a brother: Tom Clyde Duke of Shreveport.
