Willie Smith

A Celebration of the life of Mr. Willie Ray Smith was held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, July 5, 2009, with Bro. Eddie Riley officiating. Mr. Smith, 77, of Columbia, was born August 17, 1931, to the union of Robert Anderson Smith and Ethel Carr Smith and passed away on July 1, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Bobby Smith, and his wife of more than 50 years, Frances Bamburg Smith. Survivors include 2 sisters, Mrs. Ethel Ann Dark of Natchitoches and Mrs. Patsy Irby of Olla; 3 children, Mrs. Debra Lyn Riser and husband Rodger Dale Riser of Brandon, MS.; Michael Ray Smith of Columbia, Kimberly Faye Kinnison of Columbia. 4 grandchildren, Wesley Glenn Nelson, Tara LeAnn Kinnison, Kelsey Lyn Kinnison, Jacob Michael Smith; 2 great grandchildren, Wesley Clayton Nelson and Noah Glenn Nelson. Honorary pallbearers are Luther Reitzell and Rickey Watson.
