Funeral services for William Hunter Carr, age 18 of Monroe, will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, July 11, 2009 from the chapel of Bosco Baptist Church in Monroe with Bro. Bruce Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at Bosco Cemetery in Monroe. Visitation will be Friday evening at the church from 6PM to 9PM. Hunter was born on May 21, 1991 in Monroe and passed from this life on July 8, 2009 in Monroe. He was a born again Christian and member of Bosco Baptist Church. Hunter loved dancing and all types of music. He enjoyed just being with his family and friends and hanging out. He was loved by everyone that knew him and never met a stranger. Hunter always brought a smile and laugh to those around him. He will be missed deeply, but never forgotten. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Arlin Carr and Earline Carr and his uncle, Charles Holder. Survivors include his mother; Juanita Carr of Monroe, two sisters; Sommer Carr Black and husband, Chad and Malana Carr all of Monroe, two nephews; Aiden Wilkinson and Jett Black, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, special friends the Duke family and so many other friends it is beyond words. Pallbearers will be Destin Duke, Brice Arseneaux, Justin Carr, Jeffrey Haddox, Chad Wilkinson, Scott Oliver and Jared Rivere. Honorary pallbearers will be Tristen Duke, Kaleb McMillon and Andrew Walters. In lieu of flowers any planned memorials may be made in Hunter's name to Bosco Baptist Church, 334 Blankston Rd., Monroe, LA 71202.
