Willard Richmond

Funeral services for Willard Richmond, 74, of Kelly, will be held at 2 PM Saturday August 6, 2011 at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Brian Rankin officiating and Rick Richmond delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery west of Columbia. Visitation will be Friday evening at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia from 6 PM to 9 PM. Willard was born August 5, 1937 to Alvin and Bonnie Rhymes Richmond and he passed away from this life on August 3, 2011 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. He served his country in the Air Force for four years. He was a Master Mason of Lodge #16. He was a flight instructor and he loved to hunt and fish. He loved Christmas with his boys and he enjoyed talking to everybody. He loved his black lab, Missy. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by three sons: Terry Richmond of Pascagoula, MS; Paul Richmond and his wife, Amanda of Pascagoula, MS; Luke Richmond and his fiancé, Brittany Dykes of Hurley, MS; two brothers: Johnny Richmond and Bobby Richmond; three sisters: JoAnn Davis, Susie Lapham, and Mary Strange; two grandchildren: Adrian and Gracie Richmond; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Richard Whittington, Dwight Coggin, Randy Parker, Breck Lapham, Kenneth "Speck" Graham, Sam Davis, Grady Moore and Barney Flemming.
