Funeral services for Wenona Beth Adams, age 86, of Columbia, LA will be held at 10 AM Monday, November 9, 2015 at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, LA with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating. Interment services will be officiated by Buddy Shaw at Providence Cemetery, Ringgold, LA tentatively at 1 PM Monday, November 9, 2015. Visitation will be Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, LA from 4 PM to 6 PM. Wenona was born on April 16, 1929 in Jamestown, LA to the union of her parents: Percy and Maude Elizabeth Evans Nix and passed from this life on Thursday, November 5, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ben Adams, Jr.; and three siblings: Tommy Nix, Ralph Nix and Laurelis Moore. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Brenda Beth Raynal and husband, Gordon of Inman, SC, Beverly Ben Deumite and husband, Marty of Baton Rouge, LA, Benjamin Michael Adams and wife, Pam of Tuscaloosa, AL, Bette Barbara Griffing and husband, Bill of Columbia, LA and Benjamin Hughes Adams, III of New York, New York; sister, Margaret Evans of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren: Jake Adams and wife, Jessica, Amah Riley and husband, Wayne, Miriam Richmond and husband, Chuck, Casey Adams, Angela Kosarek and husband, Logan, Rachel Adams, Benjamin Adams and Mike Adams and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jake Adams, Mike Adams, Ben Adams, Bill Griffing, Chuck Richmond and Keith White.
