Thomas "Tommy" Sessions

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Monroe "Tommy" Sessions, age 67 of Urania, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Beulah Baptist Church in Georgetown with Bro. Lamar Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pineville. Visitation will be Friday evening at Beulah Baptist Church from 5 PM to 9 PM. Mr. Sessions was born on December 16, 1943 in Urania, LA to the union of Monroe Thomas and Bertha Mable Lincecum Sessions and passed from this life on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Sessions was a drilling consultant for the oil field industry. He was a veteran having served with the Army and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed most any hunting, but his favorite was turkey. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents: Butch and Alma "Mamaw" Sessions. Survivors include three sons: James Sessions and wife, Celene of Pace, FL, Jeff Sessions and wife, Dianne of Gulf Breeze, FL and Jason Sessions and wife, Tracy of Brewton, AL, three grandchildren: Cayle Sessions, Darby Sessions and Kye Sessions, two special cousins: Bettye Lincecum Shelton and Darla Lincecum. Pallbearers will be men of the oilfield and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Alvis Randall, Jack Brown and Ikey Harris.
