Thomas Alexander Peterson

Funeral Services for Thomas Alexander Peterson will be held at 3 P.M. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Grayson Baptist Church, Grayson, LA. Interment will follow the service at Old Bethel Cemetery, Clarks, LA under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM.

Thomas was born August 10, 1963 in Galveston, Texas to the union of his parents, Aubrey Peterson and Lenora Lowery Peterson, and passed from this life May 19, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA. Thomas liked to play golf and he loved his job building homes. He was a workaholic but was proud, not only of his many accomplishments, but also the friends he made working around the world for years as a safety professional in the oil and gas industry. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey Peterson; his brother, Preston Peterson; maternal grandparents, Rev. Lorey and Hattie Lowery; and paternal grandparents, Doyle and Lillie Peterson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lenora Peterson; his wife, Bess Peterson; son, Austin Peterson; daughter, Tiffany Peterson; brothers: Jeff Peterson (Annie) and Cliff Peterson (Janis); and sisters: Dionne Strong (Jay) and Denee Rizo.

Pallbearers will be Austin Peterson, Dewayne Lowery, Barry Dortch, Mike Pitarro, Jamie Shaw, and James Girod. Honorary Pallbearers are Tom Searcy and Mark Shelton.
