Thelma Sanders

Funeral services for Ms. Thelma G. Sanders, age 90 of Jonesboro, will be held at 2 PM Sunday, November 8, 2009 at the graveside at Columbia Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday at Riser Funeral HOme from 1 PM to 2 PM. Ms. Sanders was born in Columbia on February 20, 1919 to the union of Grady and Rebecca Mitchell Sanders and passed from this life on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jonesboro. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Ailene Sanders and Vera Alford and one brother; Gradie J. Sanders. Survivors include one sister; Caroline Alford of West Monroe, five brothers: John Sanders of Braxton, MS, Jarrell Sanders and wife, Gracie of West Monroe, Billy Sanders and wife, Laura of West Monroe, Paul Sanders of Zowalie and James Sanders of Wiley, TX and a host of nieces and nephews.
