Thelma Marie Crawford

Graveside services for Thelma Marie Crawford, 88, of Sicily Island, will be held 2 PM Monday April 25, 2011 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Pineville. Friends and family will deliver the eulogy. Visitation will be Monday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Thelma was born on May 8, 1922 in Olla and she passed from this life on April 22, 2011 at the Mary Anna Nursing Home in Wisner. She was a cosmetologist and a member of the First Baptist Church of Sicily Island. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Myrtle Braddock and Ruby Franklin; four brothers: Homer Franklin, Leon Franklin, Leland Franklin, and Alvin Franklin; daughter-in-law: Bobbye Crawford; She is survived by her husband: Johnnie Crawford of Sicily Island; two sons: Bill Crawford and his wife Suzie of Monroe; John R. Crawford and his wife Arlene of Bentley; four grandchildren: Donya Crawford and her husband Dale Craig of Pineville; Billy Crawford of Monroe; Kevin Crawford and his wife Dedra of Hot Springs Village, AR; Todd Crawford of Gulfport, MS; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sicily Island.
