Teresa Arceneaux Cooper

Teresa Ann Arceneaux Cooper, age 68, of Columbia, LA passed away on April 19, 2021, in Houston, TX. Graveside services will be held at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson, LA on May 1, 2021 at 10 AM. Speakers will be Bro. Shane Duke and James Mixon. Teresa was born in Monroe, LA to Durham and Nettie Arceneaux on February 23, 1953. She graduated from Ouachita High School and worked as an Office Manager/Escrow Officer/Paralegal at Mixon, Carroll, Frazier & McIlwain law firm for 32 years. She loved nights with the ladies playing Pokeno, cruising the town on her golf cart, and most of all spending time with her family. Teresa is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hawkes and husband, Kodie; son, Logan Cooper and wife, Jessica; sister, Judy Coghlan and husband, Jerry "Buddy"; grandchildren: Reese McDougal, Cole Cooper, and Case Cooper; and nephew, Chad Coghlan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Cooper; parents, Durham and Nettie Arceneaux; daughter, Angel Hatten; and niece, Renee Coghlan. Teresa has a host of family and friends that she leaves behind to cherish memories. As well as a few “kids” that she thought of as her own Carla, Jeffrey, and Thorne.

The Teresa Cooper Scholarship Fund has been set up at Homeland Bank. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the TCSF.
