Suzanne Marie Daigle Fontenot

A visitation to celebrate the life of Suzanne Marie Daigle Fontenot will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA., with speaker Daniel Roger at 12:15 Pm.

Suzanne Marie Daigle Fontenot was born in Eunice, LA on January 24, 1970, to the union of her parents, Carrol Daigle and Diana Lalonde Daigle, and she passed from this life on October 28, 2022, at her residence following a brief illness. Sue was a loving, wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. She was down to earth and never met a stranger. Sue had a heart of gold, she loved her family and spending time with her grandkids. Sue had a true calling for cooking. She owned her own restaurant and made you feel loved when you walked in the door. Sue was full of joy and a pleasure to be around. She enjoyed watching the sun rise and set. She enjoyed painting and fishing. Fishing was her hobby and she knew she was good at it. Sue rescued a dog a few years ago, named him "Henry" and started spoiling him to the fullest. They would ride in the boat or on the golf cart. He was always by her side. Sue was one of a kind and will be truly missed by all.

Sue was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Chuck Fontenot; daughter, Becky "Buck" Fontenot; son, Garrett Fontenot and daughter-in-law Kaci;  her parents; her brother, Richard Daigle and Theresa; her Godchild, Joshua Daigle; grandchildren: Branson Fontenot, Olivia Sanders, Warren Adalida Fontenot, Katie Chidester, and Eli Chidester.
