Susan Annette Finley

Susan Annette Finley was born on January 5, 1956 at Columbia, LA to the union of her parents Arwood Lynn "Mose" Finley and Ouida Marie Richmond at Columbia, LA on the 5th of January, 1956. She passed from this life suddenly on September 7, 2024 at her residence following a sudden illness. To know Susan was to love her. She worked as an EMT most of her life with the local ambulance service.She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to so many. She never met a stranger. She loved God and was very active in her church. She also loved country life and loved her dog "Grace" who stayed beside her to the very end. She was preceded in death by her parents and by three brothers,  Lynn, Keith and Danny Finley.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Eric Tarver of Sterlington; her daughter, Cherie Norrell (Sunday Cole) of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Kenny Finley of Columbia and Kris Finley on Little Rock, Arkansas; her beloved grandchildren, Jon Tarver( Sarah) of Baskin, Sara Tarver of Ruston, LA , Kaitlyn Norrell and Kristian Cole both of Austin, Texas; her great-grandchildren, Kya Cole and Dior Moris both of Austin, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Outreach Baptist Church, Columbia, LA.
