Stacey Rice-Alger Wheat

Memorial service will be Friday, March 14, 2025, at Crossroads Baptist Church from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Stacey Rice-Alger Wheat was born on April 19, 1968, at Monroe, LA, to the union of her parents, Richard Ruben Rice and Claudine Wheeler Rice, and she passed from this life on March 11, 2025, at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia following an extended illness.  Stacey loved crafting, her dogs, and the light of her life was her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, William Wheat of Columbia; her son, Jon and Kristin Alger of Columbia; two grandchildren, Kayla Alger and Jolene "Jo Jo" Alger; and two sisters, Carla Lively (Danny) of Columbia and Beverly Wyles (Kevin) of Grayson. 

Honoring Stacey's wishes  the family has chosen cremation. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made directly to the funeral home in Stacey's memory and to help defray funeral expenses.
