Funeral services for Mr. Sidney Lee Wyant age 81 of Jena will be held 11AM Sat. December 6,2008 Graveside at the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Aimwell with the Rev. Elbert Sanson officiating. Services are under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. The Wyant Family will receive visitors on Friday evening from 5PM to 8PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Sidney Lee Wyant was born on September 2, 1927 to the union of his parents the late Thomas and Lottie Jackson Wyant. He was preceded in death by five brothers Pat, Lane, Clifton, Lee, and Melvin Wyant. He was a retired river boatman. Survivors include two brothers: Tony Wyant of Enterprise and William Wyant of Tioga. Also a host of nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Wyant, Mark Coleman, Carl Wyant, Neil Sanson, and Clay Edwards.
