Funeral services for Shirley Faye Thurman of West Monroe, formerly of Columbia, will be held at 11 AM, Friday, December 6, 2024, from the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia, LA, with her son, Rev. Brian Thurman, officiating. Interment will follow at Columbia Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 AM until 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to First Baptist Church of Homer, 406 W. Main St, Homer, LA 71040.
