Sherry Dean Graham Roberts

Funeral services for Sherry Graham Roberts, 61 of Columbia will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday January 31, 2017 from the sanctuary of Outreach Baptist Church with Rev. C.R. Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be on Monday January 30, at the church from 4:00PM until 9:00 PM. Sherry Dean Graham Roberts was born on March 9, 1955 at Jena, LA to the union of her loving parents, Clyde Russell Graham and Juanita Price Graham. She passed from this life on January 27, 2017 at the main campus of Oschner Medical Center in New Orleans. Sherry was a member of the Outreach Baptist Church and was Assistant Warden at the Caldwell Correctional Center. Sherry was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Sherry was the kind of person where you knew where you stood with her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by two sisters: Mary Warner and Betty Dannehl and also two nephews: Russell and Keith Warner. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Glenn Roberts of Columbia, her son: Captain Damen Hugh Roberts (Dee) LaMasco, Texas; her daughter: Stacy Marie Kaderka (John) of Clarks, LA; her sister: Teresa Matthews (Danny) of Fort Necessity and her four grandchildren: Avery Kaderka, Lance Roberts, Siarra Roberts, and Bruer Roberts. Serving as pallbearers will be Hank Boyles, Richard DeVille, Butch Hatten, Roy White, Michael Crain and Chief Jack Mckeithen. Honorary pallbearers will be Avery Kaderka, Lance Roberts, Bruer Roberts, Jerry Futch, J.V. Crain, Darren Dannehl, Chad Dannehl, Joey Matthews, and Dustin Matthews. In lieu of flowers any planned memorials may be made to Oschner’s Foundation in New Orleans, Sherry’s funeral expenses at Riser Funeral Home, or the Arthritis Foundation and Services for the Blind Foundation.
