Sheila Renee McDonald

Funeral services for Sheila Renee McDonald, age 59, of Hebert will be held 1:00 PM Monday October 4, 2021 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Lane McClanahan and Pastor Kristy Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery at Clarks. The McDonald family will host visitation on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service, October 4, 2021 at the funeral home.

Sheila was born on September 22, 1962 at Butler, Alabama to the union of her parents Richard Allmond and Shirley Ann Fraker. She passed from this life on October 1, 2021 at Columbia due to injuries received in an automobile accident.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents and by her son, Dallas Wayne Evans. Sheila was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a caregiver to so many not only in her occupation as a sitter but she was dedicated to her mother-in-law for ten years during her illness. Sheila cherished and loved her grandchildren. She loved helping others and also loved adventures that usually ended up at yard sales.To know Sheila was to love her and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of thirteen years , Thomas McDonald of Hebert; her daughter: Melissa Dewey Mapp and fiancee Jerry Alford of Winnsboro; her son: David Wayne Norris and wife Brooke Ramsey of Chatham; her brother: Ricky Evans of Hebert; her step mother: Linda McClanahan of Hebert and her step sister: Penny Williams and husband David of Hebert; her beloved grandchildren: Alexas Mapp, Tristen Mapp and Makayla Mapp; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Shipp, Dave Cobb, Dave Williams, Stevie Abston, Stacy Reynolds and Josh Reynolds.
