Funeral Services for Sennie Kelly will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, La with Bro.Buddy Wade officiating and interment following at Welcome Home Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM Saturday until time of service at 11:00.

Salome Ann Thompson Kelly was born June 20, 1935 in Columbia, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Caleb Thompson and Zula Gibson Thompson and passed from this life April 16, 2025 in Shreveport, La. 

Sennie better know as mom was a special person. She always made sure her family came first and she took the best care of them she could. She was always a happy person and tried to make sure everyone around her was happy as well. Sennie enjoyed working in her yard keeping it clean and pretty. She kept herself up, as she enjoyed them beauty shop appointments and catching up on the latest gossip.

Sennie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curtis Kelly; and two sons: Eddie and Ricky Kelly. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, James Kelly, Steve Kelly (Bonnie), Mark Kelly; grandchildren, Alex, and Angelea; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Bobby, Logan, and Kaylee; as well as a host of other great-great-grandchildren and other family.

Pallbearers will include Paul Branch, Bobby Kelly, Todd McDaniel, Bo Dilley, Randy Conville, and Bruce Shelander Jr.
