Ronald Dewayne Slade

Ronald Dewayne Slade was born October 29, 1966 to the union of his parents, James Slade Sr and Era Crowell Slade in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and passed from this life December 2, 2023 at his residence in Olla, Louisiana following a brief illness. Ronald loved his family, his late life companion, JoEllen White, and his dog "useless". He cherished his family and he will surely be missed. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Ronald King; sister, Sam Fletcher; brothers: James Thomas "Buzz" Slade Jr, Kendal Quaid, Acey Shelton; nieces and nephews, Bruce Fletcher, Jeromy Fletcher, Brandon Fletcher, Mary Beth Slade, Jacob Slade, Matthew Slade; and a host of family and friends.

The family ask in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Riser Funeral Home Po Box 57, Columbia, La 71418 to help defray funeral expenses.
