Funeral services for Robert Eugene "Bob" Claunch, age 88, of Columbia will be held 10AM Wednesday November 28, 2012 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery at Clarks. Visitation will be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4pm to 8pm. Robert "Bob" Claunch was born on September 16, 1924 at Clarks, LA to the union of his parents, William Erastus Claunch and Margaret Eugenia Ferrand Claunch. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Billy Ray Claunch, his daughter Jeannene Claunch, and his son Randy Claunch. Survivors include two sons, Gary Claunch and wife Kathy, and Mike Claunch all of Huntington, Texas; his daughter, Jennifer Claunch and husband Dustin Holladay of Carthage, Texas; and his sister Mrs. Elaine Russell of Kelly; and eight grandchildren.
