Funeral services for Randy Lavell Black Jr. will be held 2:00 PM November 9, 2023 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Bro. Chris Bennett officiating with interment at Old Bethel Cemetery following under direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held November 9, 2023 at Fellowship Baptist Church from 12:00 PM until time of service at 2:00. Randy was born March 15, 1981 in Columbia, La to the union of his parents, Randy Black Sr. and Suzette Meredith Chambol and passed from this life November 6, 2023 at his residence following a brief illness. Lavell had a heart of gold and he lived life to the fullest. He traveled many different roads in life. Lavell loved his family, always had a clean house and enjoyed cooking. He loved animals, hanging out with his friends, shooting the bull and having a good time. He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandfather, Travis Black; and a cousin, Cashonda Martin. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Suzette Chambola (Mike); bonus mom, Denea Black; sons: Dakota Black (Lexie), Cayden Arnold Black; daughters: Olivia Stephens, Sadie White, Aubrey Black; brother, Thomas Black (Celina); sisters: Brandy Stephens (Charles), Lainie Greene (Frank); granddaughter, Teagan Black; nieces: Maddie Stephens, Emarie Black, Bristyl Black, Rosalee Richey, Malee Richey; nephews: Remington Stephens, Garrett Richey, Sam Greene, Frankie Green; maternal grandmother, Linda Lovelady (Gil), maternal grandfather, Charles Meredith; paternal grandmother, Daisy Black; and his nana-chelle (Michelle Moore).

Pallbearers include Dustin May, Ernest Guerrero, Jonathan McClanahan, Jeffery Lenard, Blake Young, Jesse Richmond, Preston Crain, and Ryan Quaid.
