Ralph J Anding

Funeral services for Ralph J. Anding, age 92 of Urania, will be held at 12:00 PM Noon on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, from the sanctuary of Sharon Baptist Church at Sikes with Bro. Bob Majors officiating. Interment will follow in the Sharon Cemetery under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Olla. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 at the church.

Ralph J. Anding was born on August 25, 1929, at Winnfield, LA to the union of his parents, William Ralph Anding and Dottie Elizabeth Linder Anding. He died on December 6, 2021, at his granddaughter's residence in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas. Mr. Anding was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pearly; his daughter, Marilyn McCarty; his son, Bobby Anding; and his brothers: Cecil Anding, Edward Anding, T.J. Anding, Rafford Anding, Ann Brown, and Edna Wallace.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory three sons: Billy Anding (Mary), Norris Anding, and Robert Anding (Shelby); his daughter, Betty Franks Anding; one brother, Leroy Anding; two sisters: Norma Meredith and Grace Girod; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Cole, Jeffrey Lee Cole, Zachery Cole, James Masters, Billy Anding and Javier Arteago. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey Cole, Norris Anding, Robert Anding, and Evonda Masters.
