Graveside services for Pearl Ivy Ford will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Hamilton Cemetery in Aimwell, LA., under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home.
Pearl Ivy Ford was born in Belfast, Arkansas, to the union of her parents John Frank Hamilton and Rosie Wilson Hamilton and passed from this life peacefully at her residence on June 6, 2022. Pearl was a Homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, whether it was picking, playing, and bossing them around to making her famous tomato gravy and biscuits. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and sewing. Pearl had a fur-ever friend in her dog Prissy, although she loved her, we are sure Prissy loved her more. Pearl will always be loved and greatly missed.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert Ford SR, Five brothers, One sister, and a step-daughter, Dorothy Pittman. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Albert Ford JR (Virginia), Carl Ford, Woody Ford, and a step-son, Rocky Ford, her daughter Rita Ford, her step-daughters: Rickie Ford, Skipper Holley, and Nelva Powell, her brother Frankie Hamilton, her sister Catherine Allen, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers include Joe Barron, Dylan Brown, Michael Banes, Jr Ford, Carl Ford, and Earnest Hamilton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Booth and Woody Ford.
