Funeral services for Paul Evans will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Clarks Baptist Church with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating and Bro. Shane Duke reading the eulogy, with Interment at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson, LA under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM., Friday, October 7, 2022, at Clarks Baptist Church.
Paul Daniel Evans was born January 14, 1961, in Pollock, LA to the union of his parents Henry Leonard Evans SR, and Joy Ann Pippens Evans and passed from this life with his wife by his side, October 6, 2022, at his residence following a brief illness. Paul was a easy going guy, that loved his wife and took care of his family. Paul always stayed busy doing something, whether it was working, mowing, hauling scrap iron, or just sitting in his recliner. He had a love for animals which include chickens, puppies, Jazzy, Daisy, Honey Boo Boo, Patches his service dog; two geese Jack and Jill. Paul also known as "Mr. Git R Done" at the Caldwell Parish High School football games loved hooping , hollering, and blowing his horn to cheer them on, and make some noise. He loved the Spartans and never missed a game.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, his brother Lonnie Evans, and his puppy Dutchess Marie. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of thirty-nine years, Jeanne Evans; his mother Joy Evans; brothers, Henry Evans, Leonard Evans JR., Shelton Ray Evans SR.; sister, Betty Malta (Michael); a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers include Michael Malta, Jay King, Richard West, Paul Roquemore, Dylan Barmore, Jack McKeithen III, Robbie McKeithen. Honorary pallbearer is Stephen McKeithen.
