Liz Hill Vallotton Wheeler

Funeral services for Liz Wheeler will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA with Brother Joey Smith Officiating, interment will follow in Rogillio Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday at Riser from 8:30 AM until time of service at 11:00.
Nora Elizabeth "Liz" Hill Vallotton Wheeler was born in Metairie, LA to the union of her parents, Luther Doyless Hill and Virginia Rogillio Hill and passed from this life June 2, 2024. Liz loved her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family, going out to eat (especially crawfish), playing bingo, spoiling her animals, and fishing. Liz loved watching Saints Football and always wanted to meet Drew Brees. She was a customer service representative for LA office of Group Benefits, "until Jindal ended it." She always went the extra mile for her clients, and they really loved and appreciated her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cline Wheeler; and two grandchildren, John Patrick Hall JR and Tera LaShay Hall.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Russell Vallotton (Malena); daughters, Lisa Vallotton and Diana Grant (Cleve); grandchildren, Joshua Medina (Jenny), Julie Norrell, Maranda Grant, Lesley Grant, Morgan Grant, Vivien Grant; great-grandchildren, Kali'i Medina, Anne-Marie Norrell, Braylei Norrell, Addison Grant; as well as a host of family and friends. Pallbearers will include,Chris Dellinger, Troy Vallotton, David Sneathern, Joshua Medina, Trevor Eppinette, John Hall. Honorary pallbearers are Cleve Grant, Bradley Norrell, and Dr. Mike Davis.
