Myrtis Richmond Stapleton

Myrtis Richmond Stapleton passed from this life and entered heaven's gates on January 11, 2021 at Haven Nursing Home, Columbia, Louisiana. She was born February 27, 1935 in Columbia, LA to the union of her parents, Jesse Thomas Richmond and Beatrice Taylor Richmond. Myrtis loved cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Maurice Richmond and Elvin Richmond, sisters: Verna Mae Denison and Gladys McLain. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Chester E. Stapleton; sons: Chester R. Stapleton (Rhonda), Rickey Stapleton (Carolyn), Thomas Stapleton (Ann), and Robert Stapleton (Cheryl); her twin sister, Myrtle Sanders; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. No services will be held at this time.
