Morgan Wheat

Graveside funeral services for Morgan Clemons Wheat age 75 of Grayson will be held 10am Sunday April 29, 2012 at the Hebron Cemetery west of Grayson. Visitation will be on Saturday April 28, 2012 from 10am until 8pm at the funeral home located at 7131 U S Highway 165 in Columbia. Mr. Wheat was born on October 9, 1936 in Grant Parish to the union of his parents R.D. Wheat and Romalor Sears Wheat.He was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife Shirley Seaward Wheat. He passed from this life on Friday April 27, 2012, suddenly at his residence. He was a retired truck driver. Survivors include two sons, William Wheat and fiancé Stacy Rice, of Columbia; and Charles Wheat also of Columbia; one daughter, Frances Wheat and her boyfriend Jeff Vicory of Denham Springs, LA; five grandchildren Tyler Dwayne Wheat, Chelsie Landry, Nicholas Couvillion, Christopher Couvillion, and Dillon Couvillion. He also is survived by one great-grandson, Nicholas Ray Couvillion. Pallbearers include Nicholas Couvillion, Christopher Couvillion, Dillon Couvillion, Jeff Vicory, and Ricky Hatten.
