Mildred Jiles Randall

Mildred Louise Jiles Randall was born May 2, 1945, to her parents, Pauline Olds Jiles and Leon “Buddy” Jiles of St. Joseph Louisiana. She passed away May 29, 2023, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. 

Mildred was a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University (now ULM) in Monroe, Louisiana and taught school in both Lasalle and Grant Parishes. After retirement, she was employed by Value Teachers and traveled the state selling insurance. She enjoyed reading and working in her flower garden. 

In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis L. Randall; her son, Mark Randall, affectionately known as the “sunshine” of her life; sisters, Lynda Jiles (infant) and Virginia “Jinks” Kirkpatrick of Forest, Mississippi; and brother, Lavelle Jiles of Hodge, Louisiana.

Survivors include sisters, Kathy McLean (Charlie) of Oak Ridge, Louisiana and Doyline Jones of Rayville, Louisiana, sister-in-law, Glenda Brady (Gerald) of Lafayette, Louisiana, as well as, many nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 10:30 AM, at Olla Cemetery, Olla, Louisiana, with her brother-in-law, Charlie McLean officiating.
