Mildred Kenworthy

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Timmons Kenworthy, age 80 of Gilbert, will be 10 AM Monday, July 6, 2009, from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Marvin Tabora officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Sunday evening at the funeral home from 6PM to 9PM. Mrs. Kenworthy was born on November 15, 1928 in Harrisonburg, LA to the union of William "Bill" and Annie Dunn Timmons and passed from this life on Friday, July 3, 2009 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She was a homemaker and a member of Woolen Lake Church of God in Hebert. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Odis Kenworthy, daughter; Odell Temple, son; James Walton and two sisters; Myrtle Stripling and Melba Oliphant. Survivors include her son; Odis Eugene Kenworthy and wife, Nell of Watson, daughter; Rose Marie Potter and husband, Ellis of Winnsboro, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and two best friends; Bobbie Rentz and Kat Crain. Pallbearers will be Marcus Kenworthy, Eugene Temple, Rodney Temple, Billy Wayne "Man" Temple, Jr., Garth Dewayne Temple and Bryan Weston.
