Funeral services for Michael Logan Lisenby, age 39 of Kelly, LA will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 6, 2024, from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Olla Cemetery at Olla.

Michael Logan Lisenby was born May 30, 1985, in Monroe, LA to his parents, Gary and Anna Rose Lisenby. He passed from this life on August 30, 2024 in Kelly, LA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Rose Brown Lisenby; father, Gary Dwaine Lisenby; his grandparents, Elmer “Bubba” Lisenby, Edward A. Brown and Mary Elaine Smith Brown; his aunt, Carolyn Brown Williams; and uncle, Wesley Lisenby. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his grandmother, Ollie Lisenby; his brothers: Brandon Sanders (Jessica) and Cory Lisenby; niece and nephew: Wyatt and Anna Rose Sanders; aunts: Mary Elizabeth Brown and Jennifer Higginbotham (Johnny); his uncles: Charles Brown and Kenny Ray Lisenby (Brenda); as well as numerous cousins. 

Michael was a talented athlete and was awarded a baseball scholarship to Crowley’s Ridge College. After attending college, he worked offshore and as a river boat mate. He lived an active life and loved to hunt, fish, ride 4-wheelers and jet skis and spend time with his friends.
