Micah Brannon Bailes

Funeral services for Micah Brannon Bailes, age 48 of Holum, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA, with Bro. Jeff Masters officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Riser Funeral Home, Saturday, July 23, 2022, for FAMILY from 9:00 until 11:00, and for friends from 11:00 until time of service at 2:00 PM.

Micah Brannon Bailes was born on July 30, 1973, in Monroe LA, to the union of his parents, Gale and Glenda Duke Bailes and he passed from this life July 19, 2022, at his home following a brief illness. Brannon was preceded in death by his father, Gale Bailes and his nephew, Dade McMullen. Brannon was an avid outdoorsman with an extreme passion for fishing and hunting of any kind. He had a big heart and would help anybody he could. Brannon was known for saying what he thought, and standing by it. Brannon enjoyed visiting with his friends just "shooting the bull". He was an excellent Marksman and a true "Ride or Die" friend. Brannon loved his family, especially his children, nieces, and nephews.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Mallory Bailes and Austin Hammrick; his mother, Glenda Bailes; brother, Cody Bailes; sisters, Tonya Bailes and Tori Bailes, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers included are Austin Hammrick, Orren McMillon, Micah McMillon, Stephen Braddock, Dusty Johnston, and Colton Thiels. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Bailes, Jesse Richmond, and Jayden Harris.
