Melinda Perot

Funeral services for Melinda Taylor Perot, age 39, of Grayson, will be held at 2 PM Wednesday April 20, 2011 at Banks Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Perot Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-9 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia and Wednesday from noon until service time at the church. Melinda was born December 28, 1971 to Jimmy Taylor of Grayson, and Pearlie Taylor of Jena, in Monroe and she passed from this life on April 17, 2011. She was the manager of the Lighthouse Restaurant in Columbia. She was a wonderful wife and mother and a loving grandmother and aunt. Survivors include her husband: David Perot of Grayson; two sons: Dylan Perot and his fiancé Monica of Grayson and Dustin Perot of Grayson; her parents: Jimmy Taylor of Grayson and Pearlie Taylor of Jena; sister: Michelle Lindsey and her husband Nick of Clarks; grandmother: Vanada Mullins of Swampers; granddaughter: Kinleigh Perot of Grayson; niece: Andie Lindsey of Clarks; numerous aunts and uncles.
