Funeral services for Mary Tidwell Franklin, age 76 of Olla, will be held at 2 PM Friday, September 4, 2015 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Olla. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Tullos. Visitation will be Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 5 PM to 9 PM at Riser Funeral Home, Olla. Mrs. Mary was born in Winnfield, LA on June 5, 1939 and passed from this life on September 1, 2015 at Hartner Medical Center in Urania, LA, she was surrounded by her family and friends. Mrs. Mary was a loving caring wife, mother, sister, step-mother, and a very special aunt. She was also a wonderful friend with a great big heart. She was preceeded in death by her parents: C. Fred Johnson and Clara Bell Johnson Malcomb; her loving husbands Craybon Tidwell and George Franklin. Her beloved children Ronnie, Debra Lynn, Dennis, and Ricky Tidwell. Left to cherish her memory: Brother: Charles Johnson of Alabama, Sister: Gloria Poole and husband, Enoch of Grayson; Special niece Nancy Broussard and husband, David of Grayson. Niece: Cathy Dunn and husband, Eddie of Grayson. Nephew: Charles Oxner and Brenda of Grayson. Step­Daughters: Tammy Franklin Griffith and husband, Billy of Jena, and Marty Davis Clemons of Texas. Grandchildren: Megan Franklin, Ryne Griffith, and Carli Clemons. Great Nieces: Amber Silvie and Jeffery Young, Madalyn and Ethan Howard, Makayla Dunn, and Cady Oxner. Great­-Great Nephews Eli Young and EJ Howard, and her two very special friends Rose Ranton and Mary McDaniel. Pallbearers will be Eddie Dunn, Scott Franklin, Billy Griffith, Ryne Griffith, Terry Ranton, and Steve May. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Oxner, Enoch Poole, Sammy Franklin, Parson Aycock, Jeffery Young and David Broussard.
