Services for Mrs. Mary Ann Winstead Boone, age 64 of Columbia, will be 10 AM on Thursday, February 26, 2009 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Bruce Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at Cross Roads Cemetery in Grayson. Mrs. Boone was born in Winnsboro on June 29, 1944 to the union of Van Frederick and Flossie Mae Williamson Winstead and passed from this life on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at St. Francis North Hospital in Monroe. She was a member of Bosco Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son; Carlton Glen Boone, grandson; Adam Nelson Williams, granddaughter; Melissa Ann Boone, sister; Glenda Sue Wolf and two brothers; Claude Earl Winstead and Donald Gene Winstead. Survivors include three sons; Daniel Boone and wife, Cheryl of Columbia, Joel Lynn Boone, Jr. of Holum and James Edward Boone of Franklin Parish, daughter; Linda Ann Boone Spangler and husband, Delbert Ellis of Corey, two brothers; Buddy Winstead and wife, Betty of Hebert and Van "Bo" Winstead of Liddieville, six sisters; Louise Ellcey and husband, Brice of Many, Grace Wolf and husband, Bud of Zachary, Velma Tucker of Columbia, Mildred Paul and husband, JK of Pioneer, Martha Hilburn and husband, Carl of Hebert and Sandra Winstead of Winnsboro, six grandchildren; Heather Leiane Brown, Crystal Lyn Gant, James Edward Boone, Jr., Nathan Willard Boone, Vivian Pearl Boone and Ashley Boone and two great-grandchildren; Addie Boone and Lillian Isabelle Autery. Pallbearers will be William H. Barnes, Jr., Ethan Cody Barnes, Zachary Owen Barnes, David Tucker, Ronnie Tucker and Shane Hide. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Hide and Mike Hilburn.
