Funeral services for Mr. Marvin Ray Hinton age 63 of Olla, La will be held 10am Monday May 30, 2011 from the Zion Hill Baptist Church at Olla with the Rev. LaVerl Shell and Rev. Denver McBroom officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with services under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla. Visitation will be on Sunday evening at the church from 3pm until 9pm. Ray Hinton was born on November 26, 1947 at Delhi, LA to the union of his parents Marvin Hill Hinton and Maidee Adams Hinton. He was a retired Tool Pusher with Nabors Offshore Drilling. He was also a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church at Olla. Survivors include: His wife: Mrs. Francine Hinton of Olla. His son: Chris Hinton and wife Mary of Olla. Two Daughters: Kim Hinton of Winnfield and Amanda Williams of Olla. Two Brothers: Johnny Hinton and wife Belinda of Urania; and Mike Hinton of West Monroe. Two Sisters: Betty Roberts and husband Neal of Boring, OR; and Juanita Hinton of West Monroe. Six grandchildren: Randi Finch, Brant Hinton, Ty Hinton, Scott Hinton, Branndon Isbell, and J.C. Williams. Great grand children: Cameron Finch, Oktober Finch, Aiyana Hinton, and Amaya Hinton.
