Marlene Beckley

Services for Marlene Beckley will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA, with  Bro. Courtney Dunn and Sister Kristy Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Burroughs Garden of Memories, Columbia. Visitation will be held at Riser Funeral Home, Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Marlene Howell Beckley was born January 1, 1942, in Columbia, LA, to the union of her parents, Charlie Howell and Beaulah Mae Jock Howell, and she passed from this life September 22, 2022, at the West Monroe Guest House. Marlene was a Christian woman who loved her church family and lived life for her kids and grandkids. She was a dedicated wife and mother. Marlene was a happy soul, who had a heart of gold. She enjoyed gospel music, drinking her coffee, and watching the hummingbirds.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-eight years, "PeeWee" Beckley; and her sister, Margaret Brown. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Tyron Beckley (Jennifer); daughter, Candace Barnes (Chris); brothers: Charles "Boolie" Howell and James Howell; grandchildren: Victoria Anderson (Phillip), Zachery Beckley(Haley), Whitley Cannon (Bailey), and Brealyn Barnes; great-grandchildren: Jace Moses, Silas Barnes, Everly Cannon, Cash Rammel, Lilly Anderson, Liam Anderson, Levi Anderson, and Greyson Beckley.

Pallbearers include Zachery Beckley, Phillip Anderson, Bailey Cannon, Byron Guichet, Tracy Howell, and Chess Hill.
