Funeral services for Marjorie McKee Harris, age 90, of Columbia, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA with Bro. Bruce McGee, Bro. Jack McKeithen and Bro. Julius Russell officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Monday evening at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia from 5pm to 8 pm. Marjorie Aline Crawford McKee Harris passed away February 16, 2014 at Haven Nursing Center in Columbia, LA. She was born July 26, 1923 in Caldwell Parish to her parents, Gene and Ida Harrelson Crawford. Mrs. Harris was a retired director of the Caldwell Parish Council on Aging and a member of Columbia Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, J.W. McKee and Arvel G. Harris and her beloved grandson, Donald Wayne Wallace. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Wallace and husband, Donald of Columbia, her "adopted daughter", Lucy Rondanini Schepis and husband, Albert of Monsey, New York, two step-sons: Den Harris and wife, Glenda of Grayson and Jeff Harris of Kentucky, one grandson, Dan Wallace and wife, Brandi of Columbia, great-grandchildren: Jarrod Wallace and wife, Ashley of Abbeville, Jake Wallace and wife, Rebecca of Columbia, Logan Wallace and Colter Wallace of Columbia, and one great-great-grandson, Rylan Wayne Wallace of Abbeville. Pallbearers will be Jarrod Wallace, Jake Wallace, Colter Wallace, Mark McKee, Garland Grant and Ronnie Darden.
