Marjorie Elaine Robinson Cox
Marjorie Elaine Cox, 94, passed from this life on Saturday, April 27, 2024. She was born on October 11, 1929 to the union of Benjamin and Lessie Robinson. She was a beloved mother, “Mamaw”, and sister. She was the epitome of kindness and compassion, leaving behind a legacy of love through her family that she cherished so much. There was truly nothing more important to her in this life than her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cox, her granddaughter, April Hatten, her sister Willie Wilson and husband Byron, and her best friend Tiny Gavoille. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Hatten; Her grandchildren, Misty Poole and husband Charles Poole, Tiffany Strebeck and husband Chase Strebeck, and Dustin Hatten and wife Madison Hatten; Her great-grandchildren, Chelsea Ingle and husband Jesse Ingle, Alexis Edwards, Dalton Edwards, Jase Strebeck, Addison Strebeck, Ty Strebeck, Madeline Swett, Landry Hatten, and Ridge Hatten; Her great great-grandchildren, Luke Ingle, John Paul Ingle, Jude Ingle, and Tucker Edwards; Her sister, Susan Robinson; Her nephew, Randy Wilson, and great nephew, Andy Wilson. Her family admired and adored her. She was their matriarch and the crowning jewel to her family. She taught them how to love and forgive, to be the bigger person and to have faith no matter what life threw at them. She taught them to enjoy all of the little moments of life while you had them. Her family will forever treasure the moments they had with her.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Hatten, Charles Poole, Chase Strebeck, Jesse Ingle, Dalton Edwards, Dylan Dannehl, and Jase Strebeck. Honorary pallbearer will be Randy Wilson.
