Marie Stump Clotfelter

Funeral services for Marie Stump Clotfelter age 95 of Columbia will be held 2:00 PM Friday July 22, 2016 from the sanctuary of Columbia Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce McGee, Bro. Jeff Masters and Rev. Warren Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson. Visitation will be on Thursday July 21 at the Riser Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation for Friday will begin at the church at 9:00 AM. Ellen Marie Stump Clotfelter was born on January 11, 1921 in West Virginia to the union of her parenta Fay Cleveland Stump and Lucy Blanche Sawyer Stump; and she passed from this life to go to heaven on July 19, 2016. She was a member of the Columbia Heights Baptist Church and loved her church and church family. She loved to cook. She lived in Florida until her retirement and she moved to Columia, LA to be near her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph William Clotfelter and three sons: Michael Clotfelter, Joe Clotfelter, and Patrick Clotfelter; her daughter: Alice C. Clotfelter; and her son-in-law: Mike Wietor. She is survived by one daugter: Mrs. Martie Wietor of Miami, Florida and by one sister: Geneva Masters and husband A. B. Masters; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grand children; four sisters-in-law: Grace Stump of Jena, LA, Mary Stump of West Virginia, Charlene Stump of Natchez, MS and La Vern Stump of Denham Springs, LA and a host of nieces and nephews.
