Funeral services for Margaret Ann (Martin) Minchew, age 57, of Mangham will be held 2:00 PM Friday December 27, 2013 from the sanctuary of House of Prayer International at Hebert with the Rev. Anthony Stewart and Rev. Yancy Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Woolen Lake Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be at the church on Friday Dec. 27 from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Margaret Ann Minchew was born on January 21, 1956 at Natchitoches, LA to the union of her parents, Huey Pierce Martin and Annie Margaret (Murray) Martin; and she passed from this life on Saturday December 21, 2013 at the Franklin Parish Medical Center in Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Richard Minchew in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her grandmother Clara Murray, and her brothers-in-law: Frank Minchew and William Minchew. Margaret was a beautiful, and caring person. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, beloved sister and friend. She was a "Mother to All". Some of the loves of her life were her horses, her ranch, but most importantly her children. Her grandchildren were the "Apple of Her Eye". As of recently she was attending the Hebert Full Gospel Church.

Minchew and wife Leanna of Hebert, Richard Minchew of Hebert, step-son: Jessie Hayden of Jonesboro, two daughters: Angie Matthews and husband Jerry of Hebert, Amanda Brooks and husband Kody of Mangham, her boyfriend: Larry Hayden of Mangham; her brother: Kenneth Martin and wife Paula of Goldonna; two sisters: Patricia Patterson and husband Levon of Hebert and Beverly Spillers and husband Danny Ray of Newellton; ten grandchildren: Justin Minchew, Dakota Minchew, Katelynn Minchew, Bailey Minchew, Jordie Minchew, Kelly Minchew, Kayla Graham, Lexi Brooks, Anna Claire Brooks, and Karl Matthews; and two great-grandchildren: Brentley Graham and Willow Rooney.
Pallbearers include: Jeremy Lee, Mark Williamson, Levi Minchew, Kenny Martin, Bo Lum, and Chris Dear. Honorary pallbearers include: Bobby Woodard, Bryan Reaneau, Edward Reneau,Curtis Hayden,Jerry Woodward,Jr. and Benjamin Lee.
