Mack Spillers passed from this life on January 19, 2023.
Mack was born to the union of Mack “Dago” Spillers and Lealer Mae Patton Spillers on November 13, 1942, in Bosco, LA, the older of twin boys. He was raised on Volman Lake and Brushy Lake and was an avid fisherman. He never met a stranger and lived to tell his stories. To know him was to love him. Mack was a wonderful husband and dad and a great provider for his family. He worked at many different jobs in his lifetime but his favorite was as a camp ranger at the Girl Scout camp in Jackson Parish for 18 years.
Mack was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Mert Aaron Spillers; brothers: Robert “Bob” Spillers and Sammy Jack Spillers; oldest sister, Maggie Strange; and younger daughter, Katie Erin Spillers.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 43 years, Paula Meredith Spillers of Olla; daughter, Meredith Spillers of Grayson; grandchildren: Ethan and Laney Braddock of Grayson; three sisters: Sandra Danford of Monroe, Sue Luther (Charles) of West Monroe, and Kathy Spillers of Columbia; and one brother, Charles Spillers (Norma) of Monroe; and a host of nieces and nephews.
To honor his wishes Mack will be cremated. No memorial service is scheduled at this time.
