Lisa Ann May Johnson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Ann May Johnson, who left us on May 7, 2023. She was born on April 28, 1966, in Monroe, Louisiana, to John W. May Sr. and Gloria Ann May. Lisa enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors alike and was always up for a car ride or listening to TV shows. Her warmth and kindness will be missed by all who knew her. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents and her infant son, William Jiles Johnson II.

Lisa is survived by her husband Barry Johnson, her two sons: William Johnson and Stephen Johnson, her three brothers: John May, Jr., Jesse May and Jeff May, and her two sisters: Debbie May and Lana May. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Cross Roads Baptist Church located at 7025 LA-126 in Grayson, Louisiana.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Cross Roads Baptist Church starting at 11 AM with Bro. Shane Duke officiating. A burial service will follow immediately after at Old Bethel Cemetery located at 1469 LA-547 in Grayson, Louisiana under the direction of Riser Funeral Home in  Columbia.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Boyd, Dylan Sinclair, Brooks Adkins, Edwin Johnson, Buddy Johnson, and Herschel Volentine.
