Visitation will be on Friday at Outreach Church from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Ward was born on March 21, 1971 in Monroe, Louisiana to the union of his parents, Delton Lavelle Parker and Wilma Benoit Parker, and passed from this life March 14, 2023 at his residence.
September 19, 2022 Ward decided to change his life as he whole heartedly gave his life to GOD. On October 2, 2022 he was baptized at Gilbert First Baptist. From that day forward he began to have a wonderful relationship with his son and grandbabies. Ward loved his son, daughter, and grandbabies. Ward missed his daughter Shelbi as she was his little twin. Even though his son didn't have much time to get to know him, Ward seemed to always do as much as he could in one day just in case he never had the opportunity again. For those who did know him and have time with him are blessed to have wonderful memories.
Ward was an avid sportsman who loved the outdoors. He also was a working man who always stayed busy working on something; cars, motorcycles, or anything that needed to be fixed. Ward loved his Harley Davidson and was always wanting to go for a ride.
Ward was preceded in death by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Gresham Newton and Estelle McClary Parker; maternal grandparents, Kelly and Mary Louise Benoit.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Ryan Quaid (Michelle), of Grayson; daughter, Shelbi Parker of Haughton; grandchildren: Bryan, Kendall, and Winnchester of Grayson; uncle and aunt, Arnold and Maureen Parker of Grayson; and a special friend, Lori Smith.
Pallbearers include Greg Black, John Spires, Joseph Barnhill, Charles Oxner, Steven Taylor, and John Coldiron. Honorary pallbearer is Craig Black.
Donations are to be made to Riser Funeral Home at PO BOX 57 Columbia, LA 71418 to help with the unexpected funeral cost.
