Burial will be at Wright Cemetery, Sikes, Louisiana, following the services. Laudie was born August 28, 1918, in her paternal grandparents' home near Kelly, Louisiana. She grew up on a farm outside of Sikes, Louisiana, and graduated from Sikes High School in 1936. Laudie married David Langston Sellers on December 24, 1936. Laudie was a homemaker and a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Urania until her health began to fail. She loved attending church, reading her daily devotionals, and meeting with her weekly prayer group. She was a fun and loving lady who enjoyed cooking, sewing, fishing, and, most of all, spending time with her family. Laudie was the last survivor and fifth of seven children born to the union of Sidney Alfred and Mary Elizabeth Underwood Dunn. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, infant fraternal twins, parents, and siblings: Seburn Dunn, Jesse Mae Meredith, Clyde Dunn, Virgil Dunn, Lola Brown Christafel, and John Kenneth Dunn. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Mary Beth Sellers Gibson, and husband, Jon; granddaughter, Erin Lea Gibson Faherty, and husband, Randy, great-grandson, Jake Liam Faherty and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Gary Dunn, R.A. Dunn, John Dunn, Terry Sellers, Judd Bolton and Tony Norman. Any planned memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Urania in Laudie's memory.
