Funeral services for Kristian Gauge Adams,infant child of Layton Heath and Christina Catherine Hodges Adams of Olla, will be held at 1PM on Friday March 27, 2009 at the Zion Hill Baptist Church west of Olla with Rev. Lavurlle Shell officiating. Interment will follow at Rosefield Cemetery, east of Olla. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 4:30PM to 9PM at Riser Funeral Home in Olla and on Friday morning from 9AM until time of service at the church. Kristian Gauge was born on November 5,2008 and left this world suddenly on Monday March 23,2009 at the Hardtner Medical Center in Urania. He was preceded in death by his step-grandfather; Melvin Watson, Jr., his great-grandfathers; Floyd DeVall and Bryan Hodges, and his great-grandmother; Shirley Gray. Survivors include his parents, his sister, Kirsten Dawn Adams of Olla, grandparents: Chester and Julie Adams,Jr. of Olla, Charlotte and Chad Fussell of Kelly, and Sam and Linda Hodges of Rosefield, great-grandparents: Chester and Gloria Adams,Sr.of Olla, Van DeVall of Winnfield, Edna Hodges of Rosefield and Charles Cox of Metarie.
