He was a longtime resident of Caldwell Parish, operating several successful businesses in the community. His main business and occupation was Ledbetter's Jewelry, which he operated and ran for 52 years. He owned and operated Corner Drugs and Ledbetter's building supply for several years. He also had a jewelry store which he owned in Jonesville, LA for ten years. Klien's remarkable work ethics and pursuit of perfection was a direct result of his faith believing his Christian duty was to provide for his family before himself. He continued to be a solid foundation and source of advice for his children throughout his life. He enjoyed restoring old Cadillacs and working on and restoring old pendulum clocks. His absolute favorite car was the 1959 flattop Cadillac. Klien was born May 5, 1929 to the union of Milton Andrew and Annie Brown Ledbetter. He was preceeded in death by his wife of fifty-six years, Bonnie Waldrop Ledbetter, his brother, Edsel Ledbetter, and his two sisters, Jeanette Maskulka and Peggy Smith. He is survived by his four children, Dennis Ledbetter and his wife, Kaye Ledbetter, Ronald Ledbetter and his wife, Judy Ledbetter and his two daughters, Debra Ledbetter and Rhonda Ledbetter. Twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. We would like to thank the entire staff of the Haven and Dr. Shroff, who treated him as if he was his own dad.
