Kaythena J Simmons

Kaythena J. Simmons, age 64 of Grayson was born on October 1, 1959 at Winnfield, LA to the union of her parents, the late Thomas Atley Fogger and Velma Catherine Robinson and she passed from this life on February 17, 2024 at her residence in Grayson following an extended illness. 

Mrs. Simmons was a loving wife to her husband Wade Simmons, a loving mother to her children, Chris Bruce  and Andy Bruce (Shonda) both of Verda; her daughter, Samantha Simmons & Justin Sproles of West Monroe, her brother, Glenn Fogger (Bonnie)  of Ruston; her beloved grandchildren, Leslie Jacob Bruce (Tiffany), Edward Ross Bruce (Sarah) and Coby Shain Bruce; her great-grandchildren, Michael Lane Bruce, Jennifer Bennett and children Bentley and Kennedy, Tia Smith and children, Alissa, Ashley, William, Colby, Brooklyn and Kaylee.

Kaythena was a member of Faith Assembley of God,  She was a Minister and a English Teacher teaching at the Jr. High and High School Levels.  She was a loving and very affecionate person, she was God fearing and Spirit Filled. She was always wanting to give of herself and strove to be a blessing to those around her.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
