Kay Ellen Cosby

Kay Ellen Cosby was born In West Monroe, Louisiana on February 24, 1964, to the union of her parents, Bobby Cosby and Sylvia Ann Coates and she passed from this life tragically on April 9, 2023, at Columbia, Louisiana following an accident. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Cosby and her grandparents, Virginia Coates and Olan Coates. Kay loved fishing, and was an accomplished artist . Her love for animals was one of the major influences in her life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory are  her mother, Sylvia Malcolm; her sisters: Lisa Cosby and Claire Wyles (Chris); her brother, Robert T. Cosby; her niece, Olivia Wyles; and her beloved nephews: Cameron Wyles, Robert O. Cosby and Erik Strahan.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 21, 2023, from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home. The Cosby family will receive visitors on Friday prior to the service from 1:00 PM to time of service at 2:00 PM. Kay's ashes will be buried at Fellowship Cemetery at a later time.
