Katherine Spruell

Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Lynn Spruell age 40 of Olla, La. will be held 10AM Sunday February 22, 2009 from the Pleasant Grove Church of God at Grayson. Officiating will be Rev. Kaythena Janise Simmons, Rev. John Norwood, and Rev. Floyd Duchesne. Interment will follow in the Urania Cemetery at Urania,La. Services are under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Mrs. Spuell, known to family and friends as Kathy was born on Nov. 16, 1968 at Urania, La. and passed from this life on February 20, 2009 following a brief illness. She was a 1988 Graduate of Lasalle Parish High School, a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of God, and was preceded in death by her son Jonathan Scott Spruell, her brother James Spruell, her aunt: Rev. Patricia Jones, and by a niece Megan Delancy. Survivors include: Her mother-Elizabeth Spruell of Olla. Her father and step mother-James Spruell,Jr. and wife Glenda of Hamburg, AR . Three brothers: Kevin Spruell and wife De De of Lacey, AR, Andy Bruce and wife Shonda of Olla, and Chris Bruce and Jessica of Verda,La. Three sisters: Renee Langley and husband Scott of Tullos, Becky Poole and husband Jason of Olla, and Jaime Hogan and husband Richard of Hamburg, AR . Serving as pallbearers are Scott Langley, Demarco Mays, Andy Bruce, Lance Griffin, Chuck Bradford, and Kevin Bradford. Honorary pallbearers include Jake Banes , Rylan Poole, Coby Bruce, and Tyrone "Man Man"
