Funeral services for Karen Wilkes Perryman, age 47, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 22, 2013 at Old Bethel Baptist Church in Clarks with Bro. Jimmy Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia and Monday from 12:00 PM until service time at the church.
Karen was born May 7, 1965 to Buddy Wilkes and Izora Cruse in Chatanooga, TN and she passed from this life on April 19, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
She was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Clarks. She loved to play pool and was a NHRA fan. She was a NASCAR fan and Mark Martin was her favorite driver. She was preceded in death by her father: Buddy Wilkes.
She is survived by her son: Dallas Perryman of Monroe; three daughters: Tabetha Coronado and her husband Dale of West Monroe; Melissa Harvey of Monroe; Jennifer Bethea and her husband Daniel of Monroe; mother: Izora Cruse and her husband Shelby of Columbia; sister: Sharon Wyatt and her husband Jimmy of Jonesboro; grandchildren: Skyy Coronado, Jesse Coronado, Madison Hern, and Danielle Bethea; her bestest friend: Twanna "T.W." Roberts; her loving companion: Dale Dana of Monroe.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wyatt, Robert Fletcher, Russ Gillepsie, Mike Fleming, Brandon Harvey, and Daniel Bethea.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Pete Butler.
